Jumping for Joy!
They say that parting is such sweet sorrow… and that it is! Today I bid adieu to my super-duper special sister, Eva. *tear*
Before she left we got to squeeze in a week full of fun. We jumped all over the place… and by jumping, I mean… jumping! In honor of her departure back to California, and to keep our great memories alive, I thought I’d share a few pictures of our little traveling tradition!
The fun got started in Dusseldorf, Germany, where we spent a leisurely afternoon walking along the Rhine, eating chocolate, and partaking in the ever-entertaining past-time of people-watching.
Our jumping continued in Knokke, a comically chic little town on the Belgian coast.
Here’s how you do a real high-five folks!
And, yes, of course we gave our jumping techniques names. We liked to call this one the “Giselle”, which originated as Eva’s failed attempt at saying “gazelle”… but we liked “Giselle” better anyway! :)
We ventured into the Belgian woods in search of the bathing pools of Ninglinspo.
Then we hiked up a mountain of stairs to the tippy-top of Liege, Belgium.
I’m performing the “cracker-jack” while Eva executes a near-perfect “tush-touch”.
After an afternoon of horseback riding (we figured the horses wouldn’t appreciate our jumping), we enjoyed one last super “gazelle-ig” evening out in Maastricht, Netherlands.
I’ll really miss my lil’ sis… it was so much fun traveling, giggling, gardening, and getting crafty with her! Don’t worry though, you’ll probably see her pop up here and there in posts over the next couple weeks! :)
Have a wonderful day, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
