Berry Delicious Berry Cobbler

cobbler 13

Hello again friends!

I hope your day is going splendidly!

Today I wanted to share one of my all-time favorite (and super easy!) recipes with you… berry cobbler! If you love berries even half as much as I do, then you’ll be in for a special treat.

Ingredients you will need:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup (or about 115 grams) butter, melted
  • lots of fresh berries!

Step One: Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Rinse and drain the berries. I chose blueberries, but any berry (or fruit, for that matter!) will do. The other week I made this same recipe with blackberries, and it was delish!

Step Two: Combine all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon) in a large bowl. Whisk together to ensure even distribution of ingredients.

Step Three: Add milk. Whisk the batter until smooth.

Step Four: Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish (or two smaller baking dishes if you want to toss one in the freezer for later). Pour the batter over the butter.

Step Five: Sprinkle your berries evenly across the entire dish.

Step Six: Place the cobbler in the oven and let it bake for about 50 minutes (or until the tops and the sides you can see through the glass dish are golden brown).

Step Seven: Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before dishing up and enjoying! Serving suggestion: Warm cobbler also tastes ah-mazing with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.

So, who’s coming over to enjoy a piece of this berry cobbler with me?! ;)

Have a wonderful day, and I’ll see you guys tomorrow!
