A Little Lavender Inspiration for a Bride-to-Be
Hello, hello flower friends!
Recently I’ve been conversing with an incredibly lovely bride-to-be who is busy planning her lavender inspired bridal party flowers. Today I dedicated some time to picking in the garden, foraging in the field, and whipping up sample bouquet for her with a hint of lavender and nice, natural flair. Hopefully the combination of sophisticated garden flowers and wilder elements will compliment her classy gown nicely and make her feel like a natural beauty.
Dahlias, garden roses, ammi, sweet peas, fennel foliage, mint, clematis, and, of course, lavender joined forces with a few other flower friends to create a pastel pallet of sweet-smelling purples and creams.
To give her an idea of the size of the arrangement (and I’ll admit it, just to have a bit of fun), I headed outside for a little photoshoot.
The flowers traveled from the field to the hammock…
After a little siesta, the flowers even said hello to the pears.
Easily clutched in one hand or two, I could easily imagine this wild and whimsical bouquet enjoying a slow walk down the aisle. I’m so very much looking forward to working with the wonderful bride-to-be to figure out the perfect flowers for her big day! :)
Have a lovely evening, everyone, and I’ll see you tomorrow.
